Enchanted Forest in China

The Enchanted Forest brings its thousand sparkles to Kaixuan Plaza (Jianye Triumph Square) in Zhengzhou.

The Forest of a Thousand Splinters of Mesh Trees has enchanted even China, in Zhengzhou in the central province of Henan.

A 34,175 m2 shopping center is designed and built by the agency in the heart of the business district in this city. The modern building is designed with soft and curved lines in the middle of the skylines.

The project started in 2013 and will end in 2019. Odile Moulin has been invited to participate in the project with three monumental tree sculptures made of wire mesh 3.5 m, 2.5 m and 2 m high. She realizes this custom order in France in constant relation with a design firm based in Shanghai. The trees are shipped to China. The artist came to oversee the installation on the 2nd floor of the building, just before the inauguration on December 18, 2019.

In this new place, the boutiques of great designers are grouped together; it is a place of life and gathering. The Enchanted Forest brings poetry and enchantment and throws its thousand sparkles in this environment of marble and glass.
